Grady Carlson has had a fascination with creating art since childhood. Appreciating the spark of ideas and their evolution, Grady enjoys using creative process and imagination in his work. An Art Education graduate of MSUM, he went on to obtain a Masters in Education from Concordia University of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Grady leads Moorhead’s finest high school artists in their creative journeys as an art educator for Moorhead Schools.
Grady’s stick pays homage to Moorhead’s most loved and recognizable landmarks. Depicting images from the double headed dragon on the campus of MSUM to the historical front steps of the Rourke, Grady’s stick is steeped Moorhead pride.
